The registration process in the olaao system is designed to be secure, clear, and to allow proper system configuration right from the very beginning.

The entire process consists of several steps that should be completed carefully, as some settings have a long-term impact on how your page functions.

Below you will find a complete overview of all registration steps.

1. Verification that you are not a robot

The first step of the registration process is verification using Google reCAPTCHA. This step protects the system against automated registrations and misuse.

Without successful verification, it is not possible to continue with the registration.

2. Entering an email address

In the next step, you enter an email address that will serve as your login credential.

A verification email will later be sent to this address.

Important conditions:

- the email address must be unique

- the email address must not already be used by another account in the system

3. Creating a password

To ensure system security, it is necessary to create a strong password.

We recommend using a unique password that you do not use elsewhere.

Password requirements:

- minimum of 8 characters

- at least 1 lowercase letter

- at least 1 uppercase letter

- at least 1 number

- at least 1 special character

4. Page name

In this step, you set the name of your page.

The page name is primarily used to identify your project and is displayed both in the administration interface and the public section.

Rules:

- the name does not have to be unique

- the minimum length is 4 characters

5. Creating a slug (@slug)

The slug is a unique identifier of your page within the olaao system.

The slug is part of your page URL, therefore we recommend choosing a simple and memorable name.

Slug rules:

- minimum of 4 characters

- must be unique within the system

6. Setting the default language

The default language is essential for the correct behavior of multilingual pages.

The default language is the primary language of the administration and is also the language displayed to visitors when:

- they are visiting your page for the first time

- their browser uses a language that you have not configured

7. Setting the default currency

The default currency is primarily used in:

- the booking system

- the product and service catalog

As with the language setting:

- if a visitor uses a currency that you have not configured, the system will use the default currency

This setting is important for the correct display of prices.

8. Setting the default country (important step)

Setting the default country is very important and cannot be changed later.

The default country is crucial especially for the booking system, because:

- the booking system works with time zones

- when creating branches, time zones can only be selected based on the default country

We recommend selecting the country in which you primarily provide your services.

9. Registration confirmation and verification email

After completing the registration, a verification email will be sent to the provided email address.

After clicking the verification link, your account is activated and access to the system administration is granted.

Without email confirmation, it is not possible to log in to the administration.
